Weather forecast wasn’t looking good, (actually pretty brutal) for our last day on snow, so head coach Johno made an execute decision to get us out of Zermatt early. 2 hours of extreme packing later we were on the road to Zurich.

After a short but sweet 24 hour stay in Ottawa I’m on the road again. Ottawa – Zurich, SUI – Kennelbach, AUT. Spending a day at the HEAD factory getting boots made and picking up skis/equipment for the season. Then on to Zermatt, SUI, for the first camp of the season.

The Indy was a blast, definitely a very cool event to be at! Being there with Alex a few days ahead of time had some perks; I got the chance to go back into the pits, check out the drivers stations, basically an all access pass to the grounds. On top of that Alex had a wicked race and finished third!

Heading over to Toronto tomorrow to watch the Toronto Indy! A Sprott sponsored driver named James Hinchcliffe is racing in the Indy series, and there are a few events being held by Sprott before the race day . One of my oldest and best friends, Alex Healy, is racing in the pre-race to the Indy, the Canadian Touring Car (CTC) series, which will make things extra cool. I’ve never seen a car race before so seeing the Indy and Alex will be awesome.

Arrived in Wengen late yesterday afternoon and right from the get go I knew this would be a unique place. The only way to get up to the actual village is to unload all of your gear onto a train and ride up. No gas powered cars allowed up in the village!
