One week until Sölden! Holy moly the summer flew by, but it’s good to be back in the alps dialing things in for the first World Cup of the season.
We’re in Hintertux again this prep period, and we’ve been pretty lucky so far with the weather. The snow hasn’t been totally ideal, but it’s still great training.
We started making some big changes to my skiing in Argentina earlier in the summer, and I’m stoked that things have continued moving in the right direction here. Big changes take time, but I know it’ll make me faster in the long run!
Day off today, and the weather is beautiful. The hotel we’re staying in has a location like no other that I’ve stayed at in Europe before. Situated on the precipitous edge of a huge valley, it’s definitely something to see, but I haven’t found a way to capture it in pictures yet. It’ll give me something to keep occupied on the day off!
With nine days left in my fundraiser I want to thank everyone, and ask that you keep spreading the word! The support has been unreal so far! www.makeachamp.com/dustincook
When you find weather like this in Hintertux, you’ve basically struck gold!
Skube is happy because I’m fast on the flats/he is winning the flats 😉
DC stickers are in! Clear backed (shown) & black background.
