The short, on-snow camp we had a couple weeks back in Nakiska was bittersweet. We went straight into huge volume in rough conditions for the first two days and I ended up tweaking my back pretty badly. Bad enough that I skipped a day of skiing and took it easy for the next two. On the plus side I did get to free ski Super G on a private mountain for my last day which was simply awesome and made me remember just how fun and pure the sport really is!
