With a few days to go until the first World Cup of the year, now is as good a time as any to unveil my helmet for the year. (That and the fact that Mitch Gagnon told me that she’s wearing a yellow POC, and we don’t need anyone confusing the two of us!)

FIS should relinquish ski regulation powers to the ski companies
Ted Ligety posted this today and I feel it’s good enough to repost. This issue is not going away until the FIS gives out some data that proves their point, or backs down and admits they are wrong on this issue and include the athletes that will be skiing on the equipment into their testing protocol
2012/13 Equipment Changes
Some pretty huge equipment changes just went through FIS, to take effect for the 2012/13 season.
Will be interesting to see what the new stuff is like and how it affects course setting
Home! For 20 hours..
After a long road trip that started at the beginning of November I am back at home for a grand total of about 20 hours. Landed last night around dinner time and I’m heading up to Tremblant this afternoon with my dad for the Super Series races there. Thankfully after that I get a week and a half off up at MSM!
