After a long and very challenging (but also rewarding) eight months, I’m officially back in ski boots and on snow! I’ve had four days on skis in Les 2 Alpes, FRA, and so far things have been going really well.

My knee feels great during and after skiing, and I  didn’t forget how to ski during all that time off so that’s a major plus! We’re still taking things day by day, seeing how the knee reacts and making sure everything is feeling good, but the plan is for three more days on snow before heading back to Colorado. A few short weeks later I’ll be flying back over the pond for a camp in Zermatt with the Speed group.

It’s been a long road to get to this point, and there have been a lot of people who have helped to get me back to this point. I couldn’t be more thankful for all the work everyone has put in to help me. There’s still lots of work left to do but it’s been a fantastic start, better than I could have hoped for, and I’m super excited about the months to come!
