What a crazy few months it’s been! I’m glad to report things have been very positive and my knee is on track and is actually feeling pretty damn good!
Rehab has obviously been quite a process and thankfully things have started to shift away from the ‘make your knee move’ aspect and more towards the strength side of the spectrum. It’s been pretty crazy and very rewarding to see and feel the progress each week. Literally every week things feel better and I’m able to do more pain free activity!
I recently spent a week out in Calgary to be with our staff and get some baseline testing done which was all very positive. I’ll be out there every month or two to track my progress and get hands on time with our awesome physios and strength coach.
The tentative plan is to get back on snow in the beginning of July which I’m super excited about! That gives me roughly 8 months of healing time after surgery, and hopefully a bit of a cushion to make sure everything is awesome before I strap on the boards again.
I’m heading out to Whistler tonight to… be in Whistler. Oh and to see teammates, sponsors, and take in the Canadian Championships! After that it’s back to Calgary for another round of testing before heading down to Mexico for some much needed time outside of the gym!
