A week at home, a week in Edwards, and a week in Park City. Not a bad way to spend the final three weeks of our dryland prep period!
It was great to unwind at home and get some things I needed to get done, done. Hang out with friends, spend some time up at MSM, all things I needed after a long camp in South America.
I hadn’t been to Edwards since the spring, and it was really nice to be back in the mountains again before the snow starts to fall. Not seeing Abby for six weeks wasn’t awesome either, so that was an added bonus 😉 Only bummer was that I didn’t have my bike out there to go for some sweet fall rides!
The final week in Park City was fun too. Abby and I stayed in a little condo and would both work out in the mornings, then figure out what to do with the rest of our day. I really enjoy PC, and if I had a choice, that would be where I’d train for the summer. So many activities right outside your door! My kind of place thats for sure!
I left from PC and headed across the pond to Zurich, caught a train to the HEAD factory, and spent most of the day getting boots made. Now we have a week and a half of training in Hintertux before moving over to Sölden for the first WC of the season!
Brad took us out for a flight over Eagle, Aspen, and the mountain ranges in between. Super super cool!
Aspens are pretty.
+20 one day, 8 inches of snow the next, melted on the third. Crazy fall!
Slacking in PC.
Went on a beauty of a hike the night before flying out.
Bit of an issue with a set of foamers.. Literally foamed the liners onto my foot. Took 20 minutes and a knife to get them off!
