The weather here in Zermatt isn’t cooperating as we would’ve liked, so it’s been somewhat of an odd camp so far. Out of the 9 days we’ve been here, 3 have been canned due to weather. High winds, top layer of crust, and fog have been the culprits. 9 days in a row of 5am wakeup though which is always a bonus! But when we have skied the snow has been awesome as is usually the case here, and we’ve gotten a lot accomplished.
So far we’ve nailed down 3 days of free skiing, 2 days of DH/gliding, and a day of GS today. Dryland must be paying off because I feel super solid and balanced on my skis. Always lots to work on though! So here’s hoping we get some cooperation from old Mother Nature!
Darth Lup. Louis-Pierre Helie testing out a new lid. No dice.
Longest gondola I’ve ever been on. 3 mid stations, 3 turns, 25 minutes.
No words needed.
RumbaTime at the Matterhorn. Looks like a nice day right? Yea, too windy.
