After an extremely fun last slalom race at Spring Series (yes you read that correctly, I had fun in slalom!) Mari and I jetted out to Dominican for a week of +35 and sunshine. I can’t even tell you how bad I needed that break! It’s been a long time since I went anywhere tropical and after the long gruelling season I felt this year was the time to go recharge the batteries a little bit. We had a great time, spent mainly relaxing on the beach or by the pool, playing a little ping pong or tennis, but generally not doing a whole lot. We even went scuba diving for the first time, which was pretty damn cool!

Now its back to business with a mini on-snow camp in Nakiska for five days. It’s full on winter in Calgary right now, who knew?!
